On October 3rd, Zaragoza was chosen to host the presentation of Laboralia, which will hold its second edition in Valencia from April 2nd to 5th, 2003. Companies from Aragon were invited to the event, as the region is home to a large number of businesses and organizations related to occupational risk prevention. Nearly one hundred business owners from Zaragoza attended, interested in various aspects of workplace safety. Rafael Cubel, the fair's director, traveled to the Aragonese capital to present Laboralia. He explained to the assembled business owners that the 3rd Occupational Safety and Health Congress would be held concurrently with the event. This congress, structured around three different themes related to workplace risks, will feature more than 1.500 specialists in the sector. In addition, technical update sessions on various topics of interest will be held.
If the first edition of the competition helped raise awareness in society about the need to improve working and living conditions, as well as the need for greater investment in the future, this second edition aims to become a platform for disseminating the necessary culture of prevention.
In short, Laboralia is the only Spanish trade fair focused exclusively on occupational risk prevention and its various specializations.
