Presentation of the Elcano Report

The Report concludes with a set of recommendations whose main objective is to strengthen the relationship and reinforce the role and image of Spain in Latin America, as well as that of Latin America in Spain.

El Elcano Royal Institute invites you to the presentation of the report: "Elcano: Spain-Latin America relations in times of COVID-19."

 

The following will participate in the presentation: Rebecca Grynspan, Ibero-American general secretary; Cristina Gallach, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean; Rafael NoyaGlobal Head of Global Debt Financing (GDF), Banco Santander; and Carlos Malamud, principal investigator of the Elcano Royal Institute and coordinator of the Report. He moderates the event. Rafael Estrella, vice-president of the Elcano Royal Institute.

 

Following a preliminary diagnosis of the current state of the relationship Spain with the Latin American region, the Elcano Report, coordinated by the principal investigators Carlos Malamud, Iliana Olivié and Gonzalo EscribanoIt focuses on the analysis of the different sectors that are an essential part of the links established between both sides of the Ocean.

 

The Report concludes with a set of recommendations whose main objective is to strengthen the relationship and reinforce the role and image of Spain in Latin Americaas well as that of Latin America in Spain, as they are considered to be the two inseparable parts of such close ties.
