The new Suse Linux 9.0 is an operating system that supports the AM Athlon 64 processor and allows for easier migration from Windows systems, thanks to support for NTFS file systems.
Experienced users can also get a first look at the features of kernel 2.6, many of which are already included in the standard kernel 2.4. The latest version of SUSE also incorporates additional system administration and configuration functions, as well as an expanded selection of software packages.
Furthermore, it is a 32-bit version, allowing workstation users to benefit from all the performance improvements that only the 64-bit architecture provides.
