LIBERTIA Logistics Solutions consolidates its leadership in sustainability by obtaining, for the second year, the Maritime ECO-Incentive

 

LIBERTIA Logistics Solutions has received a significant boost to its sustainability strategy by being included in Annex I of the latest call for proposals. ECO-Maritime Incentive ProgramFollowing a rigorous evaluation, the company has been granted a concession. 425.209,90 €, a recognition that positions her as a key player in the modernization and decarbonization of logistics in Spain.

 

This is the second consecutive year that LIBERTIA, integrated into PANTOJA Logistics Group[Company Name] is a beneficiary of this aid. The program, managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, falls within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and is financed through European funds. For LIBERTIA, the ECO-Incentive is an engine of sectoral transformation: it drives decarbonization, modernizes logistics and strengthens the role of maritime transport within the European mobility network

 

El ECO-Maritime Incentive actively seeks to promote the use of maritime transport to the detriment of road transport, thus promoting road-sea intermodality. The benefits of this measure are numerous and crucial for a more responsible business model:

• The decrease in congestion on the road network.

• A direct improvement in the road safety.

• The offer of better working conditions balanced for transport professionals.

 

The second round of this program had a total budget of 20 million euros and applied very demanding technical and economic criteria. The aid received by LIBERTIA will serve as a driving force to intensify its efforts in the reducing the environmental impact of transportprioritizing maritime transport as an inherently more sustainable option. In this way, the company is moving towards a multimodal model more efficient and safer, reinforcing the modal shift towards responsible logistics solutions.
