Transformative logistics: connecting ideas across continents

 

The emblematic Clock Building of Valencia will be the stage on September 23rd
afternoon of the meeting of Logistics Innovation, an event that will bring together prominent actors from the
innovative logistics-port ecosystem on both sides of the ocean. This event is held
as a side event of the World Forum of the World Organization of Cities and Platforms
Logistics (OMCPL)
, where Valenciaport is the host.

The innovation meeting will begin at 16:00 p.m. with an institutional welcome by
de Juan Manuel Diez, Head of Innovation at the Port Authority of Valencia. The agenda includes
presentations by international experts such as José A. Giménez, Director of Port Logistics
en Valenciaport Foundation and vice president of Logistop; Gabriel Orellana, sector expert and logistics leader at the Pan American Games; Javier Villahermosa, Managing Director of DACHSER
Southern Europe and Ricardo José Ruiz Artavia of Fidelitas University of Costa Rica.

The day will include two blocks dedicated to success stories led by startups such as Gandolapp, Passify, Standtrack, Navlandis, Kuarctech and Stowlogg, who will present their
innovative solutions moderated by Hugo Mira, CEO of Mojito 360, and Helena Ortiz, Ecosystem Manager of Opentop.

The program also includes the presentation of the Logistics Innovation Center OMCPL NODE
from Panama
; as well as the opportunities in logistics-port innovation that it offers opentop,
the open innovation hub of Valenciaport.

The day will conclude with a sector networking space for the exchange of experiences.
