The event, known as the Logistics Spain Innovation Hub, serves as a catalyst for connecting large national and international companies, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, training centers, and industry associations with the shared goal of promoting innovative and sustainable growth in the sector. The fair once again enjoys the collaboration of the Guadalajara Logistics Association and has strengthened its strategic alliances with the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL) and the Spanish Shippers' Association (ACE), adding the Association of Women in Transport and Logistics for this edition.
Laura Nistal, Project Manager at Logistics Spain, emphasized the importance of location and institutional support: "We are in Guadalajara, in Marchamalo, a prime logistics hub within the Henares Corridor, for the 4th edition of Logistics Spain. This year, for the first time, we are leaving Guadalajara City for a project that promotes and drives Guadalajara, and in which all institutions participate thanks to their belief in businesses and in the potential of this logistics and transport sector, which represents more than 10% of the GDP throughout the Autonomous Community and creates more than 36.000 jobs in the province of Guadalajara alone. Almost 50% of all jobs." Nistal also highlighted the atmosphere of the fair: "We have a huge number of companies, the major national and multinational companies in the sector […] gathered here, taking advantage of a business area. Personal contacts, super productive networking […] and we have a logistics agora […] with a non-stop program of roundtables and presentations that offer a wealth of information, debate, and reflection."
The fair also showcases the expansion plans and strategies of leading companies. Marta Simón, CEO of FM Logistics, announced a significant investment in the region: “We are a logistics operator […] working in 14 countries […] and this year we decided that we should set up a stand, since we have a differentiating factor […] we have bought a plot of land in Ruiseñor […] of about 76 square meters [sic, presumably 76.000 square meters] which we have just started to build and a warehouse of approximately 36.000 square meters will be available between June and September 2026.” Simón emphasized his company's commitment to quality: "Our company builds and designs warehouses on its own land. Our warehouses are of the highest quality […] they are lead gold warehouses and warehouses with a much higher risk level […] since our insurer requires us to insure our assets above Spanish legislation."
The financial sector also recognizes the event's importance. Julio Martín García, commercial director of corporate banking at CaixaBank, reaffirmed the bank's commitment: "For CaixaBank, it is very important to attend this fair again, where we have been present since its founding four years ago. We never miss this event to provide logical solutions to the companies that come as exhibitors and to offer our entire ecosystem of solutions to their needs." Added the ability to support international trade: "It is important to inform you that thanks to our specialists dedicated to foreign trade, we have full coverage for any business the company undertakes, whether it is an exporter or an importer."
Talent management in a competitive labor market like Guadalajara's is another key issue. Juan Sánchez, Director of Human Resources at DHL Supply Chain, commented: “We are here at this very important trade fair […] The logistics sector […] has a huge presence in Guadalajara. It is essential for all logistics and distribution in central Spain. […] This is a very demanding market, the Guadalajara market, because there are many logistics companies, there is a lot of work, but at the same time it has great potential due to its proximity to Madrid.” Regarding his company's strategies, he indicated: "At DHL, we are developing various development and retention plans, many of them technology-based, to ensure that all our employees provide the best service and are delighted to work at DHL."
Logistics Spain 2025 will continue for two days, offering a key space for business, debate, and reflection on the future of a strategic sector for the economy and regional development.
