Business owners in Sagunto join forces with Aragon to boost logistics

The Camp de Morvedre Business Association (Asecam) plans to sign several agreements this year with the Aragon Business Confederation and the Teruel Business Association to boost logistics and tourism, as events such as the America's Cup in Valencia or the Expo in Aragon will open up new business opportunities between the two regions.

According to Simón Montolí, president of Asecam, these agreements aim to "promote the potential of Sagunto's logistics hub, encompassing Parc Sagunt, the port, and the agreements currently being developed." Business leaders from Sagunto, the Aragonese Business Confederation, and the Teruel Business Association are negotiating agreements that are expected to be finalized this year.

The primary objective, according to Montolío, is "to strengthen ties with the logistics parks of Zaragoza and Teruel in order to unify criteria among these high-tech sectors." The president of the Sagunto business association asserts that "what we want is to promote the logistics hub that Sagunto can become with Parc Sagunt, the seaport, and the unification of criteria with the business sector." In his view, the development of Plaza, Platea, and Parc Sagunt "is vital for exchange and mutual growth."

The president of Asecam Montolío assures that the agreements with Aragon "will have a very important impact on Sagunto in the coming years and will extend to the rest of the economic, social and cultural areas."
