[Img # 30840]La Extremaduran company Lycolé has been nominated for the V edition of the Extremadura Exporta Awards in the Innovation category. Summoned by Avante, these awards recognize the good work carried out by companies in the region in foreign trade.

In the case of Lycolé , it has been distinguished by its innovative additions to its products, as well as by its formula for penetrating new markets, differentiating itself and gaining competitiveness.

Currently, Lycolé has several distribution channels in department stores, perfumeries and parapharmacies, and is present in countries such as Germany, Chile and the United Arab Emirates.

Founded in December 2013 by three entrepreneurial friends, Lycolé produces cosmetics whose main ingredient is lycopene, a powerful natural antioxidant extracted directly from tomatoes. Its antioxidant properties make it a true ally for beauty and health, protecting human cells from the oxidative stress caused by free radicals, which are directly responsible for aging.

With its headquarters and own laboratory in Badajoz , the company was joined in July 2017 by the Conesa Group , whose main activity is the manufacture of processed tomatoes. The arrival of this Extremaduran tomato giant has provided a significant boost to its distribution channels and international expansion. Lycolé is distributed in El Corte Inglés , Carrefour pharmacies , and perfumery chains, and is already present in countries such as Germany, Chile, and the United Arab Emirates.

The gala for the 5th Extremadura Export Awards will be held next Monday, February 25th at 7:30 pm in the Badajoz Siglo XXI building , headquarters of Ibercaja Banco de Extremadura.
