FIMMA-MADERALIA are the leading technology fairs for wood and furniture. They showcase machinery, tools, intermediate products, and suppliers. These industries, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics, generated nearly 2.85 trillion pesetas in revenue last year.
This amount includes sales from the sectors of sawing, planing and industrial preparation of wood; manufacture of veneers and boards; structures and carpentry pieces for construction; containers and packaging and, of course, furniture.
An activity that generates more than 255.000 direct paid jobs, distributed in almost 25.000 companies.
