Madrid Boosts its Luxury Trade Internationally with the "Madrid 7 Stars" Campaign

The most recent action has consisted of a familiarization trip ("fam trip«) with a select group of journalists, editors and content creators from United States, all of them specializing in shopping, luxury, and lifestyle tourism. This inter-institutional collaboration has been supported by the Community of Madrid, the Chamber of Spain and several municipalities in the region, and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (SPRING) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise (SEC).

Over three intense days, the participants explored Madrid's high-end shopping offerings firsthand. The tour included iconic areas such as the Salamanca neighborhood, Canalejas Gallery, Gran Vía and Fuencarral-Salesas, as well as iconic establishments such as Seseña or Casa Loewe layersThe program was complemented by cultural visits, culinary experiences, and direct encounters with local merchants, successfully conveying the unique character and hospitality of Madrid's commerce.

With this effort, the Madrid Chamber underlines its commitment to the internationalization of retail trade, which he considers a fundamental pillar for the region's economic and tourism development. The objective is clear: to increase the visibility of Madrid's commerce, attract a greater number of international visitors, and consolidate the capital as a leading luxury shopping destination worldwide.

Additionally, and as an integral part of the Retail Trade Plan, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce offers a free support program for self-employed individuals and SMEs in the sector, which includes individualized diagnostics, specialized advice, training, the creation of promotional videos, and digital solutions to boost their competitiveness.
