The minister highlighted the positive data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which states that Spain is the country with the highest growth, 3,5% in 2015, above the 2,5% average for other countries; and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which supports Spain's export growth within its business network.
According to the latest barometer from the Elcano Royal Institute, the number of Spaniards aware of the initiative to promote the country's image has experienced spectacular growth in its three years of existence. From July 2012 to April 2015, it rose from 57,6% of respondents to 70,5%, while the percentage of Spaniards who have a very positive opinion of it has increased from 7,8% to 19,1% in the last year alone.
As Espinosa said, "The path we've taken is just a glimpse of what remains to be done. Let's all do it together, rowing in the same direction, for the general interest of Spain and the Spanish people."
