More than 170 importers from around the world confirm their attendance at FIM 2003

The Valencia International Furniture Fair (FIM) will celebrate its 29th edition from September 4 to October 2003, 40, with thousands of buyers from around the world.

In this regard, FIM, in its Foreign Market Promotion Plan, is promoting the visit of importers to its next edition, through the organization of a specific program of reverse missions, which are added to those developed together with ICEX, IVEX and ANIEME (public institutions and sectoral associations).

Within the framework of the reverse mission program, organized solely by the event itself, FIM has invited a total of 256 importers to its next edition, selected according to criteria such as their purchasing power and their interest in the offer present at this event.

The buyers come from 50 countries across five continents. Of particular note is the presence of importers from markets such as Portugal (18), Greece (14), Italy (11), Russia (9), France (9), the United States (8), the United Arab Emirates (7), Cyprus (7), Denmark (7), Hungary (6), Germany (6), China (5), Bulgaria (5), Sweden (5), Poland (4), and Saudi Arabia (4).

Along with these, FIM 2003 will feature professionals from Canada, Japan, Australia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Kuwait, Armenia, Czech Republic, Singapore, Ukraine, India, Israel, Malaysia, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, and Puerto Rico, among other countries.

José Manuel Ponz, director of FIM, stated that "the high number of confirmations clearly reflects the interest that the next edition of FIM is generating among importers in the furniture sector and is a guarantee for exhibitors, who will be able to showcase their latest products to leading buyers from around the world in an exceptional setting for doing business."
