The meeting aims to promote trade between France and Mexico.
A delegation of 15 French executives met this week with Alejandro Páez Aragón, Secretary of Economic Development of the Mexican state of Nuevo León, to exchange ideas on various projects and strengthen trade ties between Mexico and France.
The vice president of MEDEF International (Mouvement des Entreprises de France), Thierry Courtaigne pointed out that there is special interest in the city of Monterrey "because of the excellence of its vision for economic, industrial, engineering, university and high-tech development."
The sectors represented in this delegation are transport, water and sanitation, the wine industry, manufacturing and industrial processes, telecommunications, energy and electricity, mining and aeronautics-defense.
French businesspeople will take advantage of their stay in Monterrey to gain in-depth knowledge of issues related to the country's development and to promote the growth of trade between France and Mexico.
Some of the companies represented in this delegation that visited the city of Monterrey are: Alstom, Thales, Natixis, Chateau Fonchereau, Schneider Electric, among others.
