Mexico will launch the Six-Year Customs Plan 2007-2012

There are plans to create an intelligence center


The Minister of Finance in Mexico (SHCP), Agustín Carstens, announced to Senators of the Finance Committee the presentation of the Six-Year Customs Plan 2007-2012, which will include an intelligence system to improve customs operations and will allow the exchange of information with the US on imports and exports, which will contribute to improving tax collection and identifying risks.


Cartens acknowledged before Senators that Customs' proposal includes technology to improve its operation and the creation of an intelligence center, given the large increase in trade in the country.
