Among the sectors represented in the commercial delegation are: chemical industry, construction materials, iron and steel foundry, electronic instrumentation, electrical engineering, valves, manufacturing of special tools, telecommunications services, infrastructure, consulting, electrical equipment...

The business meetings will take place mainly in Mexico City and Monterrey, but also in other cities such as Jalisco, Ciudad Juárez, Guanajuato or Ciudad del Carmen
The forecast for 2017 is that the Mexican economy will grow by 1% and 1,8% in 2018. Although uncertainty remains high due to the risks of protectionism in U.S., the prospects for growth and economic development for the Aztec country are positive. Specifically, they have structural reforms and a major infrastructure program underway.
Regarding business opportunities for Basque companies, are especially relevant in the sector of automotive, energy and electrical, and for equipment and components related to energy, transportation and communications infrastructures. Exports of Euskadi to Mexico They increased by 6% in 2016. The main products exported are: automobile and machine accessories. To a lesser extent, iron profiles, steam boilers, cast iron boxes, household appliances, prefabricated buildings, electrical transformers, etc.
