Mexico, one of the best countries to invest in franchises worldwide

The American country even displaced Spain

Ferenz Feher, representative of the Mexican Franchise Association (AMF), announced that at the most recent meeting of the World Franchise Council, held a few days ago, Mexico ranked seventh in importance in the sector among 33 nations worldwide.

Mexico even overtook Spain in the ranking that measures countries by the number of points of sale.

Feher emphasized that "the feeling within the World Franchise Council is that Mexico is perfect for investment." In that regard, he presented the franchise trends in this Latin American country and noted that, so far this year, the interest of foreign brands in investing in Mexico has doubled.

At the same time, he indicated that it is still too early for the sector to feel the impacts of the 2008 Tax Reform, and assured that, for the moment, none of the industries have expressed significant concern. Investments continue to flow, Feher stated.
