“We are excited about this new step in the European expansion of the company. We hope that Milingual receives the same reception from the british market, which we had two years ago in Spain. And, of course, that the successes and balance sheets recorded so far be repeated. We started in this market with five monthly meetings and two hundred unique users, figures that have caught the attention of large language centers interested in enhancing their language social learning strategy through Milingual,” he explains. Another key to the business in the United Kingdom will be the agreements that Milingual has already signed with some prominent international media.
The Spanish startup will offer in the United Kingdom a comfortable setting for the student - a bar or a company, a coffee or a beer - with native teachers of each language, a careful organization and a pleasant environment so that learning new languages is part of learning. but also the student's leisure. Through the platform, students who wish to do so will be able to sign up for the location they most want from a wide catalogue, at the times that best suit them and for as many days as they want.
Another of the keys to the business in United Kingdom will be Trade that Milingual has already signed with some international supports notable as the French institute or the multinational Education First, two prestigious language centers that have echoed this innovative methodology and already integrate this type of activities as part of their services, being an effective complement to the training of a language.
"From the French institute "We encourage the student to start speaking based on a communicative and active pedagogy, which is why we are committed to initiatives where students communicate naturally and in social environments," he explains. Gaelle Robin, director of studies at French Institute of Madrid.
The future plans for Milingual do not end in United Kingdom. In 2017 it is her turn London, Manchester and Liverpool, but also to Barcelona, a city that is firmly committed to languages. With 2018 we will arrive in new countries and other Spanish cities, where there is room for maneuver to open new business avenues, according to the CEO, Gabriel Pazos.
