Navarre attracts China: Chivite meets with ChinaLink and Energy China, interested in the region's promising renewable energy sector

This meeting comes just one week after the President's official trip to Pekin, where he visited the headquarters of this company as part of the regional strategy to strengthen cross-border alliances in the renewable energy sector.

The visit by the Chinese representatives, which included several working meetings, has the main objective of actively exploring business and investment opportunities in the Navarrese sector of the renewable energy and the green hydrogen.

Energy China It is an integrated energy giant that covers the entire global industrial chain, headquartered in Beijing and with a presence in more than 100 countries. For its part, ChinaLink ESGT is an Asian fund with European capital that is already making significant investments in Spain, specifically in hydrogen electrolyzer and lithium battery factories in Andalusia.

The speed of the meeting—three days after the meeting held in China—underscores the Asian group's strong interest in Navarre's positioning. The Chartered Community of Navarre aims to consolidate its leadership in clean energy, using these alliances to position itself as a gateway to the european market for the Asian energy sector.

Key Data:

Industry represents 31% of Navarra's GDP.

The green energy sector is the third industrial pillar (after automotive and agri-food), contributing 5% of the regional GDP and generating 6.400 jobs.

The Chinese delegation was also accompanied by representatives of EAG (Empresarios Agrupados – GHESA), an engineering firm based in Madrid that is part of the Energy China business group, strengthening technological cooperation.
