The Spanish educational technology company HATE IT has been recognized again as the Spain's leading edtech and one of the most important globally, according to the most recent edition of the ranking'World's Top EdTech Companies 2025This prestigious list is compiled annually by the renowned American magazine. This is the second consecutive year that ODILO has appeared on this list, maintaining its top position among the five Spanish companies highlighted. Along with ODILO, the ranking also includes other national firms such as GoKoan, Nominis, ABA English and ISDI.
To compile the ranking, TIME and Statista analyzed a total of 7,000 edtech companies from around the world. The evaluation methodology considered these companies' impact on the global education sector, awarding a maximum score of 100 points. Key factors in the evaluation were edtech companies' role in ongoing teacher training, the development of interactive features, and the implementation of gamification to increase student engagement. Additionally, the increasing efficiency driven by artificial intelligence at these companies was highlighted.
ODILO achieved an outstanding score of 79.6, supported by the company's more than 1,000 learning platforms. These platforms provide access to personalized training content for 170 million users across five continents.
New leadership to consolidate success
This new recognition coincides with a period of renewed leadership at ODILO, following the recent appointment of Sarah Harmon as CEO. With this addition, the company seeks to consolidate its position as the leading Spanish edtech and one of the most relevant in the International panorama.
