Innovation and Security: New Products for Digital Shopping
In response to the growing demand for digital services, Openbank has expanded its offering with the addition of two new insurance policies designed to protect online purchases. The first is insurance against theft or accidental damage that covers digital purchases for 30 days after purchase. The second is price protection that reimburses the difference if the item's price decreases within 30 days of purchase.
In addition, the bank has integrated new technological functionalities, such as compatibility with Google Wallet for secure and fast mobile payments. It has also enhanced its platform with options for instant transfers, utility payments, real-time expense monitoring, and the creation of "set asides" in the basic account, allowing users to intuitively organize and set aside funds for savings.
With the National Financial Inclusion Survey By revealing that six out of ten Mexicans already use digital financial services, Openbank reaffirms its commitment to developing solutions that promote inclusion and access to next-generation banking. The bank consolidates its position as a benchmark in the provision of digital financial services, adapting to the needs of an increasingly connected society.
