Hyderabad Airport Metro is seeking bids for the design and construction of a 31 kilometer stretch to link Shamshabad Airport.

La Embassy of Spain in India, through its Economic and Commercial Office in New Delhi, informs of the opening of the period for submitting offers for the design and construction of a new section of the metro line Hyderabad Airport Express by Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd. (HAML).
It is a 31 kilometer stretch from the metro station of Raidurg to the airport station Shamshabad.
For interested companies, the date for purchasing specifications ends on May 29 and the deadline for submitting offers ends on July 5.
This semi-high-speed rail line, along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) of Hyderabad, will be developed under the Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 project to connect Mindspace Junction with the international airport Rajiv Gandhi (Shamshabad) through ten stations, nine of them elevated and one underground.
Trains on this line will run on an elevated viaduct for 28,5 km and underground for 2,5 km at the airport within Hyderabad Aerocity. It is expected to cover the distance from Gachibowli (in the city) to RGIA airport in 20 minutes, with trains operating at a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
