The Society for the Development of Cantabria, SODERCAN, a public company of the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Trade of the Government of Cantabria, organizes with the Banco Santander the day'Business and investment opportunities in Mexico', next Thursday, September 26, from 17 to 19 pm at the facilities of Banco Santander (c/ Hernán Cortés, 4th floor).
The event, which can also be followed online, also has the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Mexico.
During the event, the multi-sector trade mission to Mexico that SODERCAN and the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce plan to schedule during the first quarter of 2025 will be presented.
Mexico is a strategic market for the internationalisation of Cantabrian companies, with a robust and diversified economy, offering significant opportunities in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, pharmaceutical and infrastructure.
Furthermore, it is an attractive destination for projects related to technology, value-added services and renewable energy, given its need for innovation and industrial modernisation.

They will open the day Manuel Iturbe, territorial director Cantabria-Asturias of Banco Santander, Ángel Pedraja, CEO of SODERCAN and Tomás Dasgoas, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria.
The presentation of business and investment opportunities in Mexico will be given by Fernanda Ramos y Carlos Fernandez, from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico. Next, Banco Santander will present its instruments to support internationalization in Mexico, led by Juan Gañán, July Alejandro Fernandez and Joaquin Fernandez-Palacios.
The day will end with the presentation of the next trade mission to Mexico scheduled for 2025, by Manzanares, director of the New Markets and Internationalization Area of SODERCAN, and Antonio Molleda, from the Foreign Trade area of the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce.
