A prominent delegation of Taiwanese companies in the sector Smart Cities moves to Madrid to collaborate with Spanish companies and create synergies between them.

 

Taiwan has established itself as a world leader in the development of smart communities and has taken a decisive step towards a more sustainable futureIn 2023, a key law was signed that implements the actions necessary to meet its net-zero emissions target by 2050. Within this strategy, it seeks to expand the use of renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible.

 

An essential part of its plan is to increase the use of hydrogen in electricity generation, with the aim of representing between 9% and 12% of the total energy produced by 2050. In addition, it maintains its leadership in technology, projecting itself to be responsible for 46% of the global semiconductor manufacturing capacity for AI by 2023, which reinforces its role in digital transformation and global sustainability.
