Throughout 2022, the State of Chile It carried out 1.805.586 public purchase orders, from a total of 974 purchasing bodies, representing a total purchase value of over €13.260 billion. So far in 2023, 768.581 public purchase orders have been issued, from a total of 1.003 bodies, representing a total purchase value of over €6.000 billion.

 

All these public purchases are managed through the Chilean State's public procurement system, a

a single system for the entire Chilean public administration, with a single public procurement law, and which is considered one of the most transparent public procurement systems in the world.
