On the other hand, with slightly less positive aspects, there would be the issue of digitalization, the digital transformation of the SME, let's say, is still in an initial and incipient stage, however, in terms of social responsibility, the SME is taking actions that both both internally and externally are making it have outstanding scores,” he explained. The results of the report on digitalization indicate that medium-sized companies show better scores than small ones, although they remain discreet, but the overall result is that SMEs are not giving this aspect the necessary attention. The report concludes that being a competitive SME implies, among other aspects, that companies are socially responsible, innovative in products, services, processes and management, involved in digital transformations and strategies, and exporters and with growth strategies.
