Proinso has supplied 3 MW of SMA Sunny Tripower 24.000 inverters for the largest rooftop installation in Latin America to date, located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The 3 MW facility, which covers an area of more than 34.000 square meters, is located on the roof of PepsiCo's EMSULA (Embotelladora de Sula SA) bottling plant in the region.
The project, which will generate approximately 4,252.4 MWh per year, corresponding to planting 4.7 million trees, will save the company 20% of its power consumptionThe project, a pioneer in the country, has been developed and built by SmartSolar, a local partner of Proinso in Honduras, a leading company in residential, commercial and industrial projects Latin American photovoltaic market.
