Competition organized in collaboration with AMVAC – Madrid Association of Companion Animal Veterinarians
PROPET, the Trade Fair for Pet Professionals, will hold its first edition at Feria de Madrid, from March 7 to 9, 2008. This new event, organized by IFEMA in collaboration with the Madrid Association of Companion Animal Veterinarians – AMVAC – was created in response to the need for a platform that allows the development of an expanding industry, in a professional environment that facilitates the participation of industry stakeholders.
The new Hall 12, with 14.400 square meters of gross exhibition space, will become the ideal venue to showcase the significant development taking place in this field, where leading companies will present their latest innovations. In this way, it will offer veterinary and companion animal professionals a premier meeting place, designed to foster networking and business exchanges, thus contributing to the growth of the sector itself.
Within the framework of the first edition of PROPET, the twenty-fifth Annual Congress of AMVAC, VetMADRID, will be held, which on this occasion will be dedicated to "Medicine and Surgery of the Endocrine and Reproductive System".
IFEMA's excellent facilities, combined with its services and management capabilities, make Feria de Madrid the ideal venue for PROPET. IFEMA is thus demonstrating its strong commitment to the veterinary sector and is working diligently to make this trade fair the leading showcase of advancements in this field, providing the perfect platform for companies to present their products and services.
Thus, PROPET'08 becomes a major annual event and a meeting point for veterinarians and companion animal professionals, who will have the opportunity to learn about the wide range of products and services presented in the different sectors of the Show: medicines, animal health, pharmacology, chemical products; biological market; animal identification and control systems, chemical processes and quality control; materials and equipment for clinics, hospitals and research; analysis, ultrasound, radiography and scanning; nutrition; marketing of products and services for the veterinary sector; comprehensive management software for centers and clinics; food and supplies for companion animals; equipment and facilities for shops; breeders and trainers; packaging materials; decorations and ornaments; publications; associations.
