This project will allow the German multinational, specialized in automobile components, to continue advancing in its decarbonisation target, avoiding the emission of 715 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to planting 9.174 trees.
The project adds to the company's extensive experience as a partner of the main automotive multinationals in Europe
With an installed capacity of 2,82 MWp, the plant has 5.188 solar panels that will generate 4.666,5 MWh/year. Antonio Ramon, country manager of Prosolia Energy Spain, stressed the commitment of the company and Huf with sustainability: “We are proud to support a company committed to sustainability in its mission to decarbonise energy. The expansion of this project demonstrates Huf’s commitment to renewable energy and to seeking innovative solutions that will allow us to transform the energy model towards one free of polluting emissions.”
This project strengthens Prosolia's collaboration with the automotive sector, where it has executed similar projects in countries such as Portugal, Italy, France and Germany for companies like Stellantis and Ford.
