Pull&Bear, the young fashion brand belonging to the Inditex Group, present in 70 markets with a network of more than 900 stores, opens its new store on April 15th on East Nanjing Road, Shanghai's main shopping street. The store showcases the brand's new store concept for the first time in the city, inspired by the Californian atmosphere of Palm Springs.

The store distributes Pull&Bear's collections across two floors: the ground floor, accessible from both the street and inside the Mosaic Plaza shopping center, will be dedicated to women's clothing; the first floor, accessible from inside the building, houses the men's collections. In total, the store offers customers 700 square meters of retail space.

The fourth Pull&Bear store in China's most populous city also enjoys a prime location on East Nanjing Road, one of the busiest streets in the world. On the main façade, a large battery of LED screens located at the height of the first floor will allow pedestrians to immediately recognise the brand's image.

This opening strengthens Pull&Bear's presence in China, the firm's third largest market by number of stores, behind only Spain and Russia, with 63 points of sale opened to date in the country's main cities.

New store concept

The new Pull&Bear store concept revolves around the Californian city of Palm Springs. The façade is one of the most characteristic elements of the new store. Through it, and abandoning traditional shop windows, the attention of passers-by is drawn through visual projections that invite them to enter the establishment to discover the new space.

Once inside, DIY or construction materials - such as painted concrete, OSB or pine wood - become important and, together with the gotelé and the rest of the decorative elements, create a rich atmosphere of colours, materials and textures.

As for lighting, the new establishment uses different decorative lamps, which create a unique atmosphere, closer to editorial design than to that of a commercial space.
