Quehoteles recorded a 44% increase in summer revenue compared to 2006

Online travel agency Quehoteles.com reported revenues of 12,5 million euros in June, July, August and September of this year, representing a 44% increase compared to the same period in 2006, the company said.

Compared to the summer of 2005, when the Malaga agency recorded revenues of 3 million euros, the increase has been more than 300% in two years.

The number of hotel bookings made by Quehoteles.com during the past summer increased by 53% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 44.053 compared to the 28.765 registered in 2006.

The study by Quehoteles.com on the four summer months of the last three years places August and July as the months with the highest demand, with 14.392 and 12.676 reservations, respectively in 2007.

June, with 10.915 reservations, almost double that of September (6.070), is the third most in-demand month in summer.
