The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzán, has started a round of meetings with the presidents of the football federations that make up the 2030 World Cup bidThe main objective is to establish a solid collaboration and advance the organization of this large-scale sporting event.
Louzán met in Discount with the president of the Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi LekjaaDuring the meeting, Louzán proposed the creation of a working and strategy committee that will be sectoral and rotating. This committee will begin operating in Madrid immediately and will be made up of the three federations organizing the World Cup.
"I have proposed a working and strategy committee that will be sector-specific and rotating. It will begin immediately in Madrid and will be comprised of representatives from the three federations organizing the World Championships to advance this collaboration closely," Louzán stated.
In the next few days, Rafael Louzán will meet with the new president of the Portuguese Football Federation, Pedro Proençawho will take office next Monday, February 24. The objective of this meeting is to further strengthen collaboration between the three federations and move forward with the organization of what Louzán has described as "the best World Championship in history."
In addition to these meetings, Louzán has announced the celebration of a major event in Madrid to mark the 15th anniversary of the South Africa World Cup. This event will be attended by representatives of the FIFA and the federations of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, who are also part of the candidacy.
