These awards, which endorse Iberdrola's transparency, financial communication and commitment to shareholders, come shortly after the presentation of its ambitious Strategic Plan 2025-2028Since September 24, the date of the presentation, Iberdrola's market capitalization has increased by more than €3.000 billion, surpassing €108.000 billion and approaching its all-time high.
Strategic Investment and Methodological Recognition
The awards ceremony, held in London, brought together more than 250 financial experts. The Extel Awards, awarded by the specialist firm Extel, are based on independent surveys of 110 investment and research firms, with the participation of 156 industry professionals, including analysts, fund managers, and portfolio managers.
The Strategic Plan, presented in the British capital, projects investments of 58.000 millones de euros until 2028. The focus is on transforming Iberdrola's profile into a more regulated company, with the electrical networks as the main driver of growth. Two-thirds of this investment will be allocated to transmission and distribution networks, primarily in the United Kingdom and the United States, seeking to boost the overall electrification of the economy.
Extel, with over 150 years of experience, uses a rigorous survey system that serves as a key tool for measuring objectivity and strategic performance in investor relations at the largest corporations.
