To more than 450 Spanish companies
It was highlighted what the tax presence is according to the risks assumed depending on the stage in which the company is in its internationalization process, among other important aspects.
A day has taken place, for more than 450 companies, led by carlos dalmau, Director of International Business at Banco Sabadell, and Lorena Colomer, Partner in the Tax Department of Garrigues on tax matters to take into account when exporting.
It was highlighted what the tax presence is according to the risks assumed depending on the stage in which the company is in its process of Capabilities. The difference between the export of goods and services for the provision of services or delivery of goods as well as direct and indirect taxes; intra-community deliveries of goods and the requirements for exemption in VAT and special rules.
Different issues to consider were also discussed regarding the indirect exports how are the customs declarations or in direct exports such as tariff rates, the relevance of the origin of goods or the rules of origin and procedure for their certification.
They also discussed the establishment of Spanish companies abroad, the concept of permanent establishment, applicable global taxation, tax levels… The difference between a subsidiary and a branch, as well as their commercial or tax perspective.
