The specialized magazine Euromoney has awarded to Santander the award for Best Bank in the World for Consumers, highlighting his ambitious transformation in the last two years. The publication highlighted the global integration of the entity, its new digital platform and reinvention of branches through innovative Work Cafés.
Euromoney also highlighted the Santander's strategic expansion in key markets such as the United States with Openbank, the simplification of its product offering and the significant improvement in operational efficiency. According to the magazine, this transformation has provided Santander, the largest international bank outside Asia with 175 million customersinstallation of a greater ability to take advantage of economies of scale worldwide.

In total, Santander has received 23 awards in this edition, among which the most notable is the "Best Bank" in Latin America, in addition to similar awards in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Portugal. The bank's commitment to small and medium-sized enterprises was also recognized, earning it the award for Best Bank for SMEs in Latin America and Spain, as well as that of Best Digital Banking for SMEs in Europe.

Other important recognitions include: Best Bank for Consumers in Brazil, Best Digital Bank in Chile and Best Bank in Customer Experience in Poland. In the field of corporate and investment banking, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) was awarded as Best Bank in Brazil, Spain, Poland, and Uruguay. Its capital markets business was also recognized in Mexico, and its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) business in Portugal.
Santander's commitment to the inclusive growth and sustainability was also recognized by Euromoney. The entity received awards for its excellence in ESG (environmental, social and governance) in Argentina and Spain, for sustainable finance in Brazil, and for corporate responsibility in Poland and Portugal.
These awards, which Euromoney has given for more than two decades to identify the best banking practices worldwide, highlight the value of Santander's global model, which combines a global vision with deep knowledge and local presence in each of the markets where it operates.
