Santander becomes official sponsor and bank of Formula 1 from 2025

 

Banco Santander has announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the F1, becoming the official sponsor and bank of the competition from 2025. This alliance seeks to strengthen the bank's presence in its main markets, including United States, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom, where its brands, Santander and Openbank, will have greater visibility. In addition, Openbank, its digital platform, will be launched this year in the United States.

 

The sponsorship will include the display of the bank's logos on the circuit boards at various Grand Prix events, and exclusive content will be offered to fans through various activations. Formula 1, which reached a global audience of 1.350 billion people in 2023, has a significant presence in Santander's core markets, with particular growth in the United States and among young audiences.

 

Santander already has a long history in F1, having sponsored races and teams such as Scuderia Ferrari and McLaren since 2006.
