The Minister of Public Finance announced on February 4th that the Scandinavian company SAS intends to purchase 25,1 percent of the shares of Polish airline LOT SA from Swissair. Minister Kaczmarek stated that SAS representatives must first present their offer to the Swiss and then negotiate it with Poland. The Scandinavian proposal is currently the only official offer to purchase a portion of LOT's shares.
