Closes the 2016 financial year with a total turnover of 310 million euros
The international business represents more than a third of the company's turnover.
Seidor, a multinational consulting firm specialized in technological services and solutions, has closed the year 2016 with a total turnover that amounts to 310 millones de euros, practically 20% more than in the last financial year, which has allowed it to maintain the double-digit annual growth rate.
“These results highlight that 2016 has been an excellent year for Seidor, in which we have managed to exceed all the objectives set and in which we have laid new foundations for future growth, such as the initiatives of Seidor digital and Seidor labs. Our business diversification strategy and our vocation for international expansion will allow us to continue growing at a good pace in the coming years," he assured.Eduard Farga, deputy general director of the company. In this sense, the company has set out to exceed 350 million euros in sales in 2017.
During 2016,Seidor has hired 600 new professionals around the world, 300 of which in Spain, and expects to continue increasing its workforce in the current year with a hiring level similar to that of the previous year. Currently, the consulting firm has more than 3.600 highly qualified professionals worldwide who provide service to more than 7.000 clients.

For 2017, the strategic priorities will continue to be the diversification of the business, via digitalization (Seidor digital) and innovation (Seidor labs), and the commitment to international expansion. Additionally, Seidor technology will accompany mountaineer Ferran Latorre to the top of the world in spring.
International bet
Growing in new markets is key for Seidor. Today, the company is present in 26 countries throughout Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa. In figures, Sales in international markets have represented 36% of turnover.
Seidor has announced that it will continue to strengthen its international presence. In 2016, he highlighted the acquisition of Bluekey, a South African company specialized in business solutions with more than 700 clients and 145 employees, with which Seidor continues to consolidate its presence in Africa, a continent relevant to the future growth of the company and in which it began its activities in 2015 with the opening of a subsidiary in Morocco.
Innovate to grow: Seidor Labs
In December 2016, Seidor inaugurated itsnew headquarters of Seidor labs in Tona (Barcelona), the technological innovation center from which the company promotes projects linked to areas such asinternet of things,computer vision, immersive environments and e-health, among others. Thus, among Seidor labs' plans for 2017, the“Seidor on top” project with which the consultant equips the mountaineer Ferran Latorre in his 14x8000 challenge (complete the ascent of the 14 highest peaks on the planet without using artificial oxygen). In spring, Ferran Latorre will begin the expedition to the summit of Everest, the last peak pending to complete the challenge, and in this adventure he will have the Seidor technological equipment: a sophisticated mountaineer monitoring system that will allow geolocation, knowledge of environmental variables and also your vital signs in almost real time,thanks to the SAP cloud platform and satellite communications. The technology provided by Seidor will offer a unique experience to followers of this sport, as well as the possibility of collecting data for various biomedical studies at altitude.
Collaboration with ESADE to train managers in digitalization
One of Seidor's main objectives to continue growing is its commitment to digital transformation. According to Farga, “we want to become a reference partner to promote the digital transformation of medium and small companies.” Among the initiatives in 2017 to achieve this, the creation of a management training program in digitalization in collaboration with ESADE and Penteo.
