The Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers (SERNAUTO) expands its training offer with the course “ESG in business strategy”, training in collaboration with the CUNEF University and the consulting firm Conese, aimed at empowering company managers and professionals to lead the incorporation of ESG initiatives into the company's strategy.
During recent years, the integration of criteria ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance, for its acronym in English) has become a fundamental factor for the competitiveness of companies because it allows evaluating not only the financial performance of a company, but also its social and environmental impact, something every increasingly valued in investment decisions.
In this context, the main objectives of this training are to improve management skills to manage ESG aspects with criteria of risk reduction and value creation in a new green, digital and inclusive economy, to publicize current global trends and those that will acquire greater relevance in the future, offer greater visibility of what leading companies are doing and their results, teach how to establish good engagement with economic and social stakeholders, and improve the response to new business challenges from a strategy of creating shared value (double materiality).
The training will be given between September and December 2023 in 7 half days (28 hours). This is an online training, with in-person opening and closing sessions that will take place at the headquarters of CUNEF University in Madrid.
This new course adds to the extensive training offer aimed at professionals in the automotive sector offered by SERNAUTO, where qualified and specialized training in quality stands out, such as the process qualification course according to VDA 6.3 and the Auditor Qualification courses. Product according to VDA 6.5 PSCR, Product Safety and Compliance Representative and the Automotive Core Tools.
In addition to these specialized courses in process auditing, SERNAUTO also offers others aimed at improving the communication skills and competencies of the participants.
