Seventy-five Spanish footwear brands are showcasing their latest products at the 103rd Expo Riva Schuh in Italy.

 

The Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE), with the support of ICEX Spain Export and Investments, has organized the participation of Spanish companies in the 103rd edition of Expo Riva Schuh, considered the most important international trade fair for mid-range volume footwear. This event, which is held in Riva del Garda, serves as the first global showcase for the Summer 2026 footwear collections, allowing buyers to plan their orders in advance and exhibitors to test demand.

The fair, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, takes place at the Exhibition Centre and in various showrooms distributed among the city's hotels. At the same time, the 14th edition of Garda Bags, which on this occasion debuts a new image and location with a new modular decoration concept in pavilions A2 and B2.

 

Spanish footwear exports during the first quarter of the year reached 934,4 million euros, an increase of 7,1% compared to the same period in 2024.

 

In this June 2025 issue, Expo Riva Schuh It features 1.100 exhibitors from 40 countries. China leads the way with 400 exhibitors, followed by Italy, Turkey, India, Spain, Brazil, Germany, and Portugal. This year's January edition attracted 9.000 professional buyers, 80% of whom came from Europe.

 

The Spanish delegation extends over more than 1.500 m² across eleven pavilions, including the recently expanded section of Hall B1. Of the total of 48 Spanish exhibitors, 64% comes from the Valencian Community (specifically from the province of Alicante), 19% from Murcia, and 15% from La Rioja. The fair also offers a digital version that complements the physical event, maintaining its commitment to hybridization. The next edition of Expo Riva Schuh is scheduled for January 10-13, 2026.
