True to its DNA, UNLUCKY has always been a place of meeting and exchange, a room where sharing, pleasure and energy are put at the service of business, and this will be even more true in 2024 with a special program that will make SIAL Paris an even more alive place.

SIAL Summits 

For the first time, SIAL Paris organizes the Summits. An unprecedented format that goes beyond inspiration and offers prospective content by world-class speakers. During these summits they will explore Africa, deeptech and AI, supply chain and CSR, to understand their immediate impact and reflect on the concrete solutions they can provide to face the challenges of tomorrow.

 

SIAL For Change 

Presenting cutting-edge strategies on topics related to CSR, promoting a collective movement and providing a positive vision of change, this is the spirit of the new SIAL for Change competition, presented on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of SIAL Paris. Beyond products and innovations, this award explores the general approaches of exhibitors, who must demonstrate their commitment through a specific application (available on the SIAL Paris website). The best initiatives will be awarded at the fair during a ceremony and grouped within a specific visiting route.

SIAL INNOVATION.

 

SIAL Innovation is a global food innovation observatory offered in collaboration with XTC Proteins, which analyzes several thousand applications submitted by the show's exhibitors every 2 years.

 

SIAL rewards these innovations through twenty thematic trophies, awarded by sector (dairy, seafood, frozen, catering, etc.), as well as special prizes such as the Own the Change Award (RSE), the start-up Award or the Audience Award for which the SIAL Paris ecosystem is invited to vote before and throughout the duration of the show.

 

This 2024 edition will be marked by 4 new special awards: a 60 Years Award that will reward the best innovation among all the winners of the competition since its creation, a Top 3 Countries Award with the podium of the nations that proposed the most innovative products, a Africa Prize and a Concept Prize intended for innovations in the initial phase.

 

The long-awaited SIAL Innovation Bronze, Silver and Gold Grand Awards will be revealed during the trophy ceremony, a must-see event at the show! On Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 16 to 18 p.m. on the stage of the SIAL Talks, Pavilion 5a.

For the first time, visitors to the show will have the opportunity to taste the products from the SIAL Innovation selection in a new space: SIAL Taste.

 

After a successful first edition in 2022, SIAL Startup is gaining momentum with a space

expanded to welcome young global food tech startups that are

reshaping the future of our dishes.

 

Companies with innovative concepts and products that are setting trends and for whom the

salon represents a unique opportunity to create business opportunities and gain notoriety. SIAL Paris offers startups the opportunity to present their project on the SIAL Pitch stage in the heart of SIAL Start up. The opportunity for these young companies to attract the attention of investors, boost their activity and convince people of their growth potential.

For the first time this year, they will also be exhibited in SIAL Start-up projects in the initial phase.
