SIL 2024: A hotbed of innovation with 120 startups and 163 world firsts

A space dedicated to meeting and collaboration

SIL 2024, the leading trade fair in logistics, transportation, intralogistics and Supply Chain, is preparing for an unprecedented edition in terms of innovation and emerging talent.

A total of 120 startups will actively participate at the event, from June 5 to 7, presenting its disruptive solutions to the sector. This figure represents the largest share of emerging companies in the history of the fair, consolidating SIL's commitment to promoting innovation and attracting talent.

 

Startups will have at their disposal the Startup Meeting Area, an exclusive area within the exhibition space where they can present their products and services to companies and visitors, as well as establish contacts and generate synergies between them. In addition, 25 startups selected by a committee of experts will participate in pitches on Friday morning, where they will present their projects to potential clients and investors.

 

The 10 most outstanding startups, the TOP TEN, will be direct candidates for the SIL 2024 Best Startup Award. The 5 best, the TOP FIVE, in addition to receiving the prize, will have the opportunity to be part of the Logistics 4.0 Incubator, the first high-tech incubator in Logistics 4.0 in Spain. This initiative, promoted by the Barcelona Free Trade Zone Consortium (CZFB) and with the support of the INCYDE Foundation and funds SPRING, offers winning startups access to resources, training, mentoring and work spaces to enhance their growth.

 

 

The 650 companies participating in SIL 2024 will present 163 new products exclusively worldwide, the largest number recorded throughout the 26 years of history of the sector's international reference fair.

 

 

The 42 companies that are currently part of the Logistics 4.0 Incubator will exhibit their solutions at their own stand. For the 12 new startups recently incorporated, SIL will be the first opportunity to present their disruptive proposals to the sector. In just one year of activity, the incubator has hosted 42 projects, generating 72 new jobs, 361 new clients and 49 recognitions.

SIL 2024 will bring together a total of 650 participating companies, which will present 163 new products exclusively worldwide, the highest number in the 26-year history of the fair. This edition promises to be a hotbed of innovation, talent and opportunities for the logistics sector.
