La Region of Madrid, through its Internationalization Single Window (VUI), in collaboration with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid and Las Rozas Innova, has organized the participation of Madrid startups specialized in developments for Smart Cities in the prestigious Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) which will be held from March 18 to 21, 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. This event is recognized as the leading Asian forum dedicated to innovation in smart cities and advanced technologies such as AI and IoT.
The SCSE is exclusively oriented to the B2B market and offers startups a platform called “Startup Terrace”, designed to accelerate their growth within the smart urban ecosystem. The aim is to connect these innovative companies with corporations, public administrations and other key players in the sector to apply their transformative ideas in real urban environments.
The sectors that will be attended include: Smart Cities, IoT (Internet of Things), Smart Buildings, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Green Energy, Smart Living, Net Zero Solutions and Smart Transportation. The VUI provides logistical support for startups to participate as exhibitors, while the Taiwanese organizers offer a hotel subsidy that partially covers expenses for five nights.
