I would like to say a few words, especially regarding the year 2002. ITDH is one of the institutes of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and because of its role, it connects with Hungarian companies and ministries.
One of its main activities is to promote foreign investment in Hungary and, furthermore, to increase the competitiveness of Hungarian businesses in other countries by facilitating their entry into foreign markets. These objectives are achieved through programs that enable investment, and ITDH also offers various services to businesses.
ITDH has an extensive network both nationally and internationally. We have 33 offices, ten of them in neighboring countries and 12 in Hungary. To facilitate our presence in the Spanish market, our Madrid office will relocate to Barcelona, continuing its functions throughout 2002 to promote investment and foreign trade.
We will soon be holding a meeting of Basque businesspeople in Budapest. This is a continuation of the Basque-Hungarian meeting that began in Bilbao last year. It's a great opportunity for Hungarian businesspeople to learn about the region and connect with local entrepreneurs. Information will soon be available on the ITDH website, and the most important event will be a conference on promoting capital investment. We will be providing information on investment opportunities in Hungary and in the Spanish cities of Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia. In the second half of the year, we will hold bilateral meetings in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Seville with the participation of the following sectors: automotive, machinery manufacturing, food, and IT. Also during this period, there will be a conference to promote capital investment in the automotive sector, one of the most important sectors for both Spain and Hungary. We will be providing support to strengthen Spain's position. We will also be promoting Hungarian participation in various important international trade fairs. Regarding support for attending these fairs, there will be a competition, and the conditions for this can be seen on our website.
