Taisa Logistics, comprehensive logistics operator with a track record in Spain over 40 years old, has recently obtained the ““e” Seal of Business Excellence in Logistics and Transport.
This certification, promoted by organizations UNO, CEL, Adigital and CITET of the logistics sector, seeks to recognize the best practices in order to strengthen its role as one of the main drivers of economic growth in the country.
To achieve the seal, Taisa Logistics has been evaluated by the certifying body TUV Rheinland having to report on aspects related to three areas of its activity: key aspects, which guarantee compliance with legislation and regulations as well as transparent management; general aspects, related to quality criteria, environment, safety at work and CR; and sectoral aspects, related to respect for free competition, responsibility towards professionals or the promotion of technology and innovation, among others.
Over the past six years, thanks to its new business model, Taisa Logistics has increased its industrial flexibility, reduced its delivery times and decreased its emissions by 7%.
The "Stamp e”, In addition to being a recognition of the commitment of this logistic operator with the quality of customer service, it will be a very valuable continuous improvement tool. Its validity is established for a period of three years, during which time Taisa Logistics must undergo a series of follow-up evaluations aimed at measuring its progress in the established criteria and objectives.
“Our strategy has always been geared towards meeting the needs of our customers, focusing on optimising transport and seeking synergies, all from an approach in which sustainability and the reduction of emissions are fundamental. This certification endorses our work in this regard and represents an element of added value to our offer,” he explains. Julio de Pazos, general manager of Taisa Logistics.
Taisa Logistics makes a significant effort in terms of innovation and sustainability, as demonstrated by the fact that, over the last six years, thanks to the implementation of its new business model, it has managed to considerably reduce its delivery times, in addition to achieving greater industrial flexibility, greater proactivity towards customers and a better capacity for reaction, storage and order management. At the same time, it has improved its environmental performance with a reduction in emissions of 7%.
