 Luis Simón, Director of the Office in Brussels and Senior Analyst, Elcano Royal Institute In view of the upcoming NATO summit in Madrid this June, the Elcano Royal Institute hosts a roundtable with experts on transatlantic relations to discuss on the implications of the war in Ukraine and the future of Europe's security panorama.

 

Concretely, this discussion seeks to assess how the war impacts the adoption and the content of NATO's Strategic Concept, as well as the implications in the long run for NATO's future. Experts shall address how collective defense and deterrence should be enhanced in this guiding document considering the current geopolitical reality. The event will be held in English without simultaneous translation
