A country aware of its logistical future

Evaluated according to market accessibility, infrastructure quality, labor accessibility and cost structure, the Czech Republic is the fourth best country in the EU, behind France, Germany and Belgium, according to a study by Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker.
As a considerable number of European and international companies have established themselves in Czech territory, the country is aware of its immense logistical potential.
Thus, the Czech Logistics Association (CLA) supports businesses in improving their competitiveness by helping them acquire the necessary expertise. It organizes seminars, collaborates with the trade press, holds international conferences, and strives to attend major logistics events in Central Europe. Furthermore, the certainty that intermodality is the key to the development of logistics transport is sufficient justification for the creation of the Czech Intermodal Association (ARIP), which has focused its efforts on fostering cooperation between university research centers and businesses to identify viable intermodal projects.
For its part, the University of Prague (the Higher School of Economics, VSE) has had a Logistics Department since 1990, and is among the sixteen most prestigious higher education institutions in Europe offering specialized training. Logistics and supply chain management are part of the management disciplines.
The Logistics Department offers master's degrees in logistics management that combine international transport and transit trade. Each year, around one hundred students graduate and easily find employment.
