Uniport, together with the Port Authority, will make an information space available to associated companies as a meeting point in which they will also promote the services they provide in the port of Bilbao to bulk agricultural and food traffic.

The port community of Bilbao, represented by UniportBilbao, participates on September 7 in the fifth edition of the Douro International Cereal Exchange held in Valladolid.
In 2021, nearly 3 million tons of agricultural and food products moved through the maritime terminals of the port of Bilbao, of them 60% (1,7 million) are in bulk or what is the same for the primary sector. In this chapter, traffic in soybeans (one million tons), oils and fats (622.000 tons) and cereals and their flours (85.000 tons) with origin/destination in the port hinterland stands out.
The companies in the port of Bilbao offer specialized terminals and facilities for this type of products and all types of services linked to foreign trade: from customs clearance, chartering, cargo certification, which complement, commercially, the official controls that, for all types of products of plant or animal origin (except live animals) for which the Border Control Post It is authorized by the European health authorities. All terminals have a rail connection.
The International Duero Grain Exchange is organized by ACCOE (Spanish Cereals and Oilseeds Trade Association), and Unistock from Spain (Spanish Association of Port Warehouses of Grains, Cereals and their Derivatives) seeks to promote commercial and business relationships between brokers, operators, companies and professionals dedicated to the international trade of cereals, oilseeds, grains and their derivatives.
