Vertical Aerospace, the pioneer company in electric aviation, and Aciturri Aerostructures, a world leader in aeronautical structures, have announced a long-term strategic alliance. The agreement aims to develop and manufacture the structure of the VX4, Vertical’s revolutionary electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Under this agreement, Aciturri will be responsible for supplying the complete aircraft structure, including the fuselage, wings, stabilizers (empennage), and engine mountings (pylons). This collaboration covers both the pre-series model and full-scale production of the VX4 once it obtains official certification. In addition, the Spanish company will contribute its extensive engineering experience to optimize manufacturing, ensuring an efficient, reliable, and scalable process.
Aciturri's nearly 50 years of experience in the aerospace industry is a fundamental pillar of this project.
The firm has participated in commercial aircraft programs of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer, and has a proven track record in developing structures for other programs eVTOL, Like the ones of Eve Air Mobility and LiliumThis track record, combined with Vertical's vision, strengthens the path toward certification and mass production of the VX4.

This agreement follows other key developments for Vertical, including the expansion of its partnership with Honeywell for flight control systems and the completion of its first airport-to-airport flights, solidifying its development and production strategy for the VX4.
