Extenda Global concluded its 2022 edition, held on November 16 and 17 at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA), with the participation of 616 Andalusian companies that have held a total of 1.543 business meetings with representatives of the Extenda Foreign Network in 63 countries. In total, up to 1.202 professionals attended the largest business event in the foreign sector in Andalusia, which aims to promote foreign trade by Andalusian SMEs.

The United States, Mexico and Germany have been the markets that have aroused the most interest among Andalusian companies when it comes to holding business meetings.

In this sense, at the close of Extenda Global, it can be seen that the markets that have aroused the most interest for Andalusian companies when it comes to arranging meetings on the two days of the event have been United States (10%), Mexico (5%), Germany (5%), France (4%), Canada (4%) and Morocco (4%).
Altogether, up to 1.543 meetings were arranged by professionals with those responsible for Extenda's Foreign Network in 63 countries, in which they have provided them with the necessary and valuable information to address these markets with better capacity, and with which they have been able to schedule concrete actions for next year.
Extenda's Foreign Network encompasses is deployed by four continents. In Africa There are 16 countries: Angola, Algeria, Ivory Coast, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Ghana, Iran, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa and Turkey.
En America covers 11 countries: Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru and Ecuador. In addition, it is present in three key areas of the United States: Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
En Asia It is where it has grown the most in recent years, now reaching 19 markets: China, South Korea, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia , Vietnam and Thailand.
And in Europe, maintains a consolidated presence in 17 countries: Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary and Romania.

Conference panel: World order and new markets
Extenda Global's balance sheet also reflects the great interest of companies in knowing the current complex geopolitical context, something essential for the development of their activity. This was reflected in a calculation of the 1.710 attendances recorded at the 32 conferences and presentations held at the event by Extenda and the rest of the participating entities.
On the first day of the 16th, the keynote presentation by Jorge Dezcallar, which reflected without complexes on the geopolitical vectors that explain the world at the end of 2022. This day also discussed the financial and fiscal aspects of foreign trade, as well as free trade agreement between the EU and Canada; business opportunities through B2B marketplaces or cyber intelligence and cybersecurity in internationalization.
On the second day, yesterday the 17th, Pedro Banos gave a presentation entitled 'Geopolitical implications for companies of the new global disorder', in which he pointed out the new hegemonies of global trade.
On this day, two interventions have also taken place on business opportunities in geographical areas of maximum importance for international trade such as the Sub-Saharan Africa; taught by Alberto Virella, ambassador of Spain on Special Mission for the Africa Plan; and the Indo-Pacific, starring Álvaro Schweinfurth, deputy director of CEOE International, and Antonio Viñal, director of AVCO Legal and general secretary of Asempea.
European trade policies in the current situation were exposed by Juan Ignacio Zoido, MEP and member of the International Trade Committee in the European Parliament. Finally, a round table on the Pacific alliance took place with representatives from ProChile, ProColombia and PromPerú.
Furthermore, in the exhibition area, presentations took place on markets, such as Mexico and Morocco, and important aspects for the internationalization of companies such as sworn translation, digital marketing, b2c marketplaces or digitalization and the cloud were addressed.
