From Cape Verde
The Canary Islands-based company Vidral has opened its new metalwork factory in the Praia industrial park in Cape Verde within the past year. The company chose this location to supply Cape Verdean demand and export to the rest of Africa, according to reports. http://www.africainfomarket.org/.
In an exclusive interview with Africainfomarket, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vidral, Arturo Ramírez Schwartz, stated that "the plant is already operational, twelve months after the decision was made to build the facility in August 2006."
For his part, the Prime Minister of the African country, José María Neves, expressed his satisfaction with the investment and admiration for Vidral's productivity, while also highlighting the importance of providing Cape Verde with the latest new technologies, "at a time when economic growth and the expansion of the Archipelago urgently demand it."
